I present you rare advertising fan “ Aviation & Grands Magasins” circa 1930, fan with
3 question mark shaped palmettes, for the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris.
The shape refers to Breguet 19 aircraft better known by its nickname “Point d`Interrogation”. On board, Costes & Bellonte became the first to fly from Paris to
New York 3d September 1930, crossing the Atlantic from East to West in more than
