The front depicts a scene in Venice: two smartly dressed girls run away from the happles Pierrot to Arlequin , who is waiting for them in a gondola. The inscription on the right is an advertisement: “Parfum Floramye” L.T. Piver Paris. The inscription on the left is an advertisement: “Souvenir de Vichy Etat”.
On the reverse side are inscriptions advertising Vichy mineral waters and the address of the perfumer Piver in Paris. Dark stains are visible, possibly from perfume sampling.
