On the front side is a colour illustration by the French artist Maurice Leloir for the poet Xavier Privas`s poem “The Happy Knight”. The signature on the bottom left: Maurice Leloir. We see the Knight riding on a horse, in the middle of vineyards, accompanied by four nymphs. The Nymph crowing the Knight with a laurel wreath represents Glory, the Nymph with a rattle and bared breasts is a symbol of Cheerfulness, the Girl with four-leaf clover is Good Luck. The last Numph with a glass of champagne is Health. On the reverse side is the text of the poem “The Happy Knight” by Xavier Privas, signed at the bottom right: Xavier Privas. The four couplets tell why the Knight is so happy and end with the same refrain: Je suis Cliquot, roi de Champagne. On the bottom left is a stamp od edition: Imp. Camis – Paris.
