On the handle of the fan is an advertisement for travelling by ship of the Italian shipping company “Loyd Sabaudo”, founded in Turin in 1906. In 1932, company merged with two others to form “Italian Line”. Travelling was possible both across the Mediterranean Sea and across Atlantic Ocean to North and South America.
