The fan has a special mechanism that allows the flower to close and open. This type of fan was invented and patented by Leopold Verger in 1904.
On the reverse side: advertisement for the shop “Paris – Fantaisie” in Lille. The shop offered haberdashery, costume jewellery, games and toys.
