Rare advertising fan of Russian restaurant “Boyards” in Paris 1900.

On the front we see an image of the pavillion built on the Champ de Mars for the 1900 Paris World`s Fair. WE see two ladies: on the dress of one lady is the Russian Imperial double-headed eagle, and on the dress of the other lady is the coat of arms of Paris. The inscription on the left says that the “Boyards” restaurant was opened by two French restaurateurs from St Petersburg: Contant and Juin. In St Petersburg they owened the restaurant “Contan”, one of the most expensive and prestigious in the city, it was located on the embankment of the Moika river. On the sheet we see inscriptions with a pen:” Jeudi 11 juillet 1900 “ and “Mercredi 10 juillet 1900”, probably on these dates the owner of the fan visited the exhibition and the restaurant “Boyards”, where she bought this fan as a souvenir.  On the reverse is the publisher`s stamp     : “G. Migeon editeur, 18 rue Chapon, Paris”.
