Leaf: cardboard, colour printing.

The front side depicts curious kittens, and it is impossible to understand what exactly this fan is advertising.
Underneath the picture is the inscription: No. 70B – curious kitten, and on the right is the inscription: litho in USA.
On the reverse side is an advertisement for the “shoe wizard” Haines. Mahlon Haines (1875-1962) from York, Pennsylvania, was a well-known shoe manufacturer. His business was built on a “full cycle” principle, from raising cows to a chain of retail stores.
Other models of fans with advertisements for the “shoe wizard” Haines are also known. The shoe-shaped house built by Heines in Hellam still stands today.
At the bottom right is a reference to the printing house: Strayer-Beitzel of York-York, PA.
