Fan “Bouquets of Flowers”

    Leaf: gauze silk, embroidered with gold-coloured sequins.

    Frame: wood, carved.

 

This fan is very characteristic of the early XIXth century: the black leaf is lavishly embroidered with sequins, whilst the frame is modest in design.
